Hi, I’m Oliver, Ollie to my friends. I’m a BIG guy at 90+ lbs, but it is all heart. I have a condition called hypothyroidism and will need to be on medication for the rest of my life, but the good news is that it isn’t expensive, and my hair is growing back! If you look closely at the pictures, you can see just how bald I used to be. I have also lost a few pounds so I’m at a healthy weight and have energy again.

I took awhile to get used to the cats here at my foster family’s house. I would do best with cats that have strong personalities and don’t run, as it makes me think they want to play chase. Otherwise I get along well with them, and other small caged animals like guinea pigs. I live here with a 4yr old weim named Grady, and his baby sister, Posy, who is only 5 months old. Grady and I hit it off, but I was kind of jealous of Posy for awhile. She looks up to me though, so I’ve decided that she’s ok too.

I’m good with kids, maybe older ones would be better, but the youngest kid in my foster home is only 5yrs old and we get along nicely. We get along so well I even let her sit on me while she has a snack! Sometimes I can be kind of possessive of my foster mom and dad and don’t like it when the kids hug them good night. My foster mom and dad don’t put up with my attitude though and won’t let me get away with it. That would be the only reason I would need to be with older kids. My foster parents let me on the couch, but I get down right away when I’m asked, and if you don’t want me on YOUR couch, I will respect that.

I’m a big guy for sure, but I just want someone to cuddle with!
